Every September right between the end of the summer blockbusters and beginning of awards season I like to expand my film knowledge and check out movies from 1964 and before. From classics that most grew up with to obscure foreign dramas, September Classics gives me a chance to watch and review films I normally would struggle to find the time for and share them with others.. For September Classics 2020 I am bouncing around from diverse filmmakers making their voices heard against all odds to films considered to be some of the best of all time. From Best Picture winners like Rebecca and Hamlet to foreign cinema from across the globe, September Classics 2020 promises to be a diverse and exciting exploration of early film. One thing new to the series is the addition of revisiting a couple films already included in previous September Classics series. The first September Classics series took place in 2017 back on Youtube, but with my evolution in content both the 2017 and 2018 versions of the series are no longer available meaning that my coverage of those films have been lost. Not only are these couple of films some I truly loved on the first time and including them in the series allow me to revisit them, but it also allows me to cover them again in a format that will stay on the website for years to come. With this years series coming in a whopping 15 films, they also don't take that many spots away from new watches and the series would be the biggest yet regardless of their inclusion.
